Great idea, poor quality,
I purchased this GPS-enabled watch to track my distance and time. The good thing is it is coming with heart rate monitor so i had constant access to what my speed and HR is. The GPS locks and have a good tracking system. The software is good and user friendly.
The idea is very good but the quality of the product is poor. My first watch went back after 4 runs because the HRM just stopped working at the end of my 20mi bike ride. I sent it back and ordered a new one. I had it delivered yesterday and today went for my regular every morning 3 miles run. After that i tried to charge the watch and in the moment i plugged the cable in the USB port smoke started coming out of the docking station.
After a call to Amazon i have the returning label and the watch is going back.
Before i got these two i bought one for my brother and he is having issues with the HRM, too. So no, it is not a coincidence.
